On a misty March morning I headed over to Crawley Down for the Bridal Preparations for Georgina & Sam’s Wedding. Georgina & Sam are part of a group of friends that I have had the pleasure of working with before. I think from their group of friends this is my 3rd Wedding so it was great seeing some familiar faces. On arrival hair and makeup was in full swing and the Sun was just starting to break through the mist. A beautiful soft morning light was streaming through the windows creating a beautiful contrast for the preparation images.
It was soon time to leave Georgina and head to the church to get some images of the boys. All Saint’s Church Crawley down is a beautiful little church and the Vicar as always was very welcoming. With the arrival of the bride there was a fantastic light up at the Church door which was perfect just as the Bride entered the Church. Silhouettes during this part of the day can be so rewarding.
After the ceremony we headed over to Stanhill Court. Before the formal images we headed down to the walled garden for a selection of couple portraits, the light again was fantastic, you can see that Winter had not fully let go and a chill remained in the air.
Please feel free to have a look through a selection of images from the day below. =
