Simon was our photographer for our wedding in October 2024. We liked Simon from our first meeting at the consultation and we knew from then that we had to have him to photograph our wedding! On a mild October day in 2023, I got married to my lovely husband and I asked Simon to help us capture the day. I couldn’t recommend Simon enough as our wedding photographer. I hate the camera and he spent lots of time making sure me and my husband felt comfortable. Simon was absolutely amazing on the day and so patient and worked so hard. Simons prices are also hugely reasonable for an excellent standard of photography. We hired Simon for our recent wedding at The Ravenswood and we couldn't be happier with the photos of our day! Neither of us are very comfortable in front of the camera so our engagement shoot was a great way of overcoming that, Simon really put us at ease and he suggested a few simple poses, which made for some lovely photos. Simon was amazing on the day of our wedding, he captured everything from the bridal preparations to the party and we've got so many amazing photos of the day. He has such a great eye and we've got a lovely mix of posed photos and candid shots. We've received our online gallery and our USB with all the images and slideshow and we're currently trying to narrow down which photos we'd like as prints! Simon has done the wedding photography for both of our daughters weddings now. He is one of the nicest people you could ask to meet and takes so many amazing photos that it makes it almost impossible to choose the images that you would like. As well as the obvious, more formal photos, he also manages to capture so many moments that you don’t even realise are happening at the time. Our daughter and her fiancé also very much appreciated the engagement photo shoot that he offers beforehand, it’s a good idea to get over those initial self conscious feelings before the “big day”. Simon makes everyone feel very relaxed and comfortable, his manner is friendly, professional and respectful to all the guests as well as to the bride and groom.
