Spring Pre Wedding Photo Session on Ashdown Forest
There is something incredibly special about springtime on Ashdown Forest. With warm sunshine filtering through the trees on this beautiful spring morning creating a soft golden light that was perfect for this relaxed pre wedding photo session in Sussex.
We spent the morning exploring some of the beautiful woodland paths and open heathland areas across the forest stopping along the way for natural, relaxed photographs. The sunny weather gave us beautiful soft light throughout the session, adding warmth and colour while allowing the couple to simply enjoy the experience together.
Pre wedding sessions are a fantastic opportunity to slow things down before the wedding day itself. They allow couples to become comfortable in front of the camera, while also creating relaxed photographs in a quiet location. Ashdown Forest offers an amazing mix of open views, woodland scenery, winding paths, and peaceful Sussex countryside — making it one of my favourite locations for engagement and couple photography.
The relaxed atmosphere of the session perfectly reflected the couple. There was lots of laughter, quiet moments together and plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful weather and surroundings. Pre wedding photo sessions do not need to feel overly posed or formal — sometimes the best photographs simply come from enjoying time together.
